It seems that l-m-t conflicts with pm-utils, and so, it must be a
reimplementation of some of the pieces of pm-utils.

Therefore, it would probably make more sense to merge the two rather
than carry on a parallel effort.

While that is being considered, a good reason to suggest removing it
from Ubuntu is to prevent against people accidentally disabling suspend
capabilities on their systems while trying to do something as simple as
improving battery life by installing something that sounds pretty good
(laptop tools, cool!).
