** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20

  Hi all,

Since the kernel 2.6.20.13 and still in 2.6.20.14 version, when I boot my PC,
there is a step which is very slow (it wasn't before).
As there is no message with the new usplash, I started in recovery mode
(single) to see which step it was.
So it seems to be at the moment it is written "configuring network
interfaces". After that, the system seems to work normaly.

  I have two ethernet cards : one integrated (gigabyte GA-7VT600 1394) & a
  realtek RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ pci card.

I have tried a test. I disconnected my ethernet cable and then the boot
- process was slower again.
+ process was even slower.

As the release time is soon, I will stay tuned. So if you need more
  details, just tell me.
