Public bug reported: Hello,
I've been using the Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits version without too many troubles. Sadly the 10.10 livecd 64bits version, just won't start. It displays some information about some kernel panic (got a shot of the screen I'll try to attach). My current configuration is : Asus P7PD-E Pro I7 860 Asus EAH5850 (lspci -vn log obtained through the 10.04 64 bits version attached for more details) I've yet to try the 32 bits version on my system but I'm not very pleased about having to switch back to 32 bits. Hope you guys could track the cause so it wouldn't affect future releases ! Thanks and tell me wether you need further info :-) ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Kernel Panic with Ubuntu 10.10 64 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/675172 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
