I use RDV on Ubuntu, but to get from a Fedora14 machine to my 10.04 principal PC I was obliged to install and use TSClient.
It's true, Ctrl-Alt-Enter doesn't work. However, F8 does bring up a floating menu, at least on Fedora. Give it a try. -- When in fulllscreen mode, impossible to close/minimize fullscreen and so forth.
