Seems to be a rather a problem of the firefox plug-in. When I open the following page using firefox:
http://www.emissionshaus.com/kc/deutsch/produkte/schiffsbeteiligungen/schiffspanorama/images/l_03_owners_cabine.mov I see a black the "Movie Player", likely "Gnome media playe" opens, however just shows a black screen. Also then switching to fullscreen mode, then I still see the movie player showing a black screen.
