Have yet to find a binary package available in the repositories, at least for PowerPC. However, .deb builds may be downloaded through the source package page, under the word Builds: > https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gparted/0.7.0-1 While these probably still need testing, they at least save the work of building from source.
