For kubuntu 10.04 i can confirm Dolphin problems, which also affect amarok. An audio CD (containing 71 small audio fiiles) causes dolphin to act endless reading in CD informations. All audio files in Dolphin window are displayed, even w/ their CD-Info text, but then there is a loop accessing the CD. The voices from the CD drive show that any read access is reset and retried continously. Amarok, if set to loop one of the 71 files, without copying files to library (i.e. loop over an audio file read directly from CD), crashes after the first play. Hardware- or CD-damages are definitely not the reason since on that double-boot machine Windows 7 works all right reading, playing and looping.
