Binary package hint: stardict
Hi there,
I notice that Stardict is now saving its config in GConf - when did that
happen? (broke some of my stuff... :( ).
In particular, hpaned_pos is broken. It was broken before, but in a
different way, and I'd fixed it rather crudely with a bash wrapper
around the stardict executable which modified this property in
$HOME/.stardict/stardict.cfg.
Right now the problem is that the hpaned_pos variable is interpreted
differently on save and on load. Open GConf-editor to
/apps/stardict/preferences/main_window/, set hpaned_pos to, say, '10',
and then open and close stardict a few times (without adjusting
anything) and watch the value gradually increase.
I've just changed my wrapper script to hardcode/overwrite the value
whenever stardict starts up, but it would be cool if this could be
fixed.
