Had a dual boot Windows XP, SP3 / Ubuntu 10.04.01 LTS via Wubi. Bootup of Ubuntu had been problematic from the start, but a patch had more or less solved the problem (but it still failed to boot on occasion). Upgraded to 10.10 from within 10.04 with no problems. No more bootup failures. I just wanted to add a positive experience into the mix.
