I just added the PPA to a Maverick test machine and the packages from
the PPA are visible, even though the translations are ignored:
$ apt-cache policy osgearth
osgearth:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1.4.1-2~maverick1
Version table:
1.4.1-2~maverick1 0
500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable/ubuntu/
maverick/main i386 Packages
