Confirmed fix pr 1st of november with ubuntu desktop 10.10: 1. close gwibber 2. log into facebook in your browser, go to the application settings, remove Gwibber permissions/authorization etc etc 3. open gwibber and try to log in with your username from http://facebook.com/username again 4. ??? 5. PROFIT
