Same problem occurred again on my Maverick machine without changing the WLAN password.
I started the machine and should connect automatically to WLAN as configured. But different from usual after a while it brought up the WLAN login dialog. Manual disconnect and reconnect did not help. On my notebook I have a switch to turn off WLAN - did that and after turning off again I was able to reconnect to the WLAN.
