This is a rather obscure bug, but more info is not needed. I've confirmed it with nautilus on edgy.
This is entirely in nautilus. To reproduce it, do the following: 1) Remove ~/.thumbnails 2) Create a directory with one thumbnailable file in it, that has a space in the name. 3) Go to that directory, and only that directory. 4) Use the nautilus search feature (not beagle) to search for the file name in that directory. 5) Notice that there are now two of the same thumbnail in .thumbnails/normal. I am quite surprised that the reporter was able to notice this. -- Nautilus duplicates thumbnails for files with special characters when searching https://launchpad.net/bugs/55814 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
