Then simply do: echo '\_SB.PCI0.RP00.VGA._PS3' > /proc/apci/call Be warned though, THIS IS ONLY FOR the U43Jc. Sometimes you have to reset it again by running echo '\_SB.PCI0.RP00.VGA._PS0' > /proc/acpi/call and then run the above again... This replaces the DSDT in memory when booting, I don't guarantee that it will work for everyone, but it works for me.
