As I said in comment #103 we should be careful not to hijack this bug report. The original bug report was about a E6410 with intel graphics and a core i5. I have such a machine as the original reporter and my laptop is resuming flawlessly with Ubuntu 10.10 kernel (2.6.35-22).
Are there any other people here with laptop with those specs who can confirm that the Macerick kernel works? If that is the case, I would kindly suggest people with other hardware to open specific bugs. For example, people with core i7 that are having problems with resuming when speedstep is on in the bios. The same for people with nvidia cards.
