Same error: "BIOS(Block1) Damaged call service man with maintenance disk" after installing Ubuntu 10.04 on TOSHIBA SATELLITE 1800. After installation i've got only the problem with video resolution. Ubuntu recognise 800x600 instead of 1024x720.
i used my laptop a couple of time to test it then it did not work anymore and now that error dont allow me to use my old Toshiba. Anybody know how to fix it?
