Well I have hauppauge nova-t with conexant chip and it uses cx88-dvb
aswell and yes, it not loading it by default like it did before(since
dapper). Well it's not a big deal I can load it from boot. But it would
be better to get it working out of the box(for newbies sake).

it's linux kernel 2.6.20 where this automating stuff missing and it will be 
fixed in next kernel release, but it's obvious that ubuntu's kernel team will 
fix it in upcoming feisty's kernel ;) (fingers cross).
