G'day Fabi, Sorry for the wait but you know how it is ;). I install Maverick UNE (Unity) on a spare HDD & the auto changing wallpaper is fine so the problem only appears to be with Lucid & Karmic UNE's. Mind you I'm having stability Maverick UNE as the HDD keeps stalling / freezing (See bug 657990 or 634702) until you move the mouse or hold down the alt key which makes this version totally unusable. I might be better off sticking with Lucid UNE until the bugs are hopefully sorted. Hope this info helps. Cheers. Glenn
