since my upgrade to maverick my usb sound card is not detected completely. until this morning's reboot with latest updates ALSA could see the card, but not Pulseaudio. Now ALSA does not detect it either. dmesg shows this error: snd-usb-audio: probe of 2-5.4:1.0 failed with error -5. Details of my configuration are in bug 662156
