Hi, I have same issue so I'd like to post some additional informations: I am using radeon Xorg driver + classic mesa (R600) and get same results as on the screenshot. As a workaround, I use Gallium3D (R600g) from git for stellarium (setting LIBGL_DRIVERS_PATH env variable) which solves it. Unfortunately, r600g is still not mature enough to use it as default (eg. gnome-shell+mutter need classic mesa libs).
