Allan, The error_log shows no problem in your print job, it looks like
as the job has printed successfully. Only suspecty line is

D [23/Oct/2010:14:44:55 -0300] [Job 441] prnt/backend/hp.c 496: unable
to connect hpssd socket 2207: Connection refused

This makes the impression that there are communication problems between
your computer and your printer.

Can you try yo set up a print queue via the AppSocket/JetDirect CUPS
backend? To do so, start system-config-printer (System -> Administration
-> Printing), click the "Add" button. In the window coming uip then
choose your printer on the left, under "Network Printer". Then click
"Connection" at the bottom and choose "AppSocket/JetDirect network
printer via DNS-SD" or "AppSocket/HP JetDirect". Then click "Forward"
and do the following steps of the print queue setup until it gets
complete.

Can you print reliably using this new print queue?
