Public bug reported: Nautilus disappear (all the browsing windows and desktop icons) when sharing a folder with modification permission (after the right SMB packages have been installed)
Ubuntu: 10.10 Nautilus: 1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1 It is always reproducible on my machine. To do so : - Create a folder on the desktop for example - Right click on the folder / Properties / Share tab - Enter a share name and check the option to enable modification permission (my system is in french, I don't know how the option is named in english) - Click on the 'Modify Share' button, and nautilus crashes. However, the share is created successfully at this point, but every new modification regarding modification permission will crash nautilus again. I don't know which informations I can attach to the bug, but I would be glad to do so if someone points me what to do. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus crashes when sharing a folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/664669 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
