Updated to 10.10 today. Problem is still the same. But I experienced a new phenomenon: display is left on while suspending (as always) but then there are horizontal lines and the screen gets "cloudy" and those clouds get brighter and brighter (display back light?). Turned off the system anxious to "brake" my display.
"nomodeset"-option seems to have no effect at all. Now running the system with modeset=0 in radeon-kms.conf and compiz disabled - suspend/hibernation seems to work now without problems. -- thinkpad X3x series suspend and hibernate hang https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550401 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
