I also had the problem with the beta/rc which seems to have begun after the xorg 1.9 update. And i also seem to suffer from the high system/kernel cpu slowdown problem as described by #37 and in some forum posts, does anyone know if there is a bug report for that one yet, couldn't find one. My notebook, which is upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 doesn't have these problems.
