On the one hand, this felt 'critical' to me. Here I was with a failing disk drive that I couldn't recover since I couldn't use pvmove. There was some sense that I was not alone, given what I could find of other persons in distress via google.
On the other hand, I rescued myself with a bootable CD from another distro. As a crusty old operating system guy, I'll leave you with the thought that a nonfunctional LVM feature feels like a big, operational, deal. You are welcome to tell me to stick with LTS if I want that level of reliability. -- Debian bug #376283 breaks pvmove https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/89952 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
