I ran the command as su, without errors. I have had the connection up only 10mins now, the connection dropped only once in this time... (actually very soon after I made a connection with the wireless AP)
I guess this workaround has worked for me, should Madwifi be contacted about this? I do not want to disable NetworkManager cause I'm a real Gui person, although I can get my way around using terminal. I'd prefer not to...
