Confirmed on an IBM Thinkpad SL500 with Ubuntu 10.10. Just a blank screen after suspend/resume. It Seems that the system is not even entering the suspend mode correctly.
A working fix seems to be turning off the wireless-switch of my laptop and turning it on after the correct resume. But still annoying.
