Hi Pedro, I have tried the new gnome-power-manager that comes with 10.10 and the problem still exists - the screen does not dim when idle, despite it being checked in the power management options screen.
I ran the same command as in the initial report (gnome-power-manager --verbose 2>&1 | tee ~/gpm.log) and have attached the log.
