Sorry, I lost my test computer and am waiting to get it back. I will try
to find one at home (that I can format and do again - already upgraded
everything)  and duplicate the problem.

If it helps, this is what I had:

*) PC Class computer w/IDE harddrive

*) UBUNTU 5.10 installed (Entire Disk)

when I booted the Install(LiveCD) for 6.06LTS in these computers all
would fail during the disk partitioning until the swap partition was
removed and the system rebooted, then the install went as expected. My
install options on each was to erase and use the entire disk.

I hope this helps and I will try to duplicate ASAP.
