I have the same problem with a Samsung N150 Netbook. When trying to come back from suspend, the screen just stays dark. I am unable to get to any kind of terminel, either by hitting ctrl-alt-del or any combination. The only solution is a hard reboot.
After the latest kernel update (released this week), my laptop (a Dell Inspiron 6400) has also started to exhibit problem with coming out of standby. This problem is not easily reproducible (sometimes, it's working, sometimes it's not) but quite annoying...
