Yes. Did a fresh install of 10.10 on my laptop (the one that has this problem the most often) the day after it came out. Same thing.
I have found that if I hit ALT+F7 when the cli login appears, it will switch to a blinking cursor, and then after about 30 to 45 seconds it shows a regular graphical login.
