Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ekiga
Ekiga freezes when trying to accept a call. The application turns gray (in gnome) and sits there. A "top" doesn't reveal any cpu being used so I don't know what's happening. I haven't so far been able to make a call to a human being (only sip:5...@ekiga.net). I am attaching a gdb session output. Perhaps this will be useful. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. % apt-cache policy ekiga ekiga: Installed: 3.2.5-1ubuntu1 Candidate: 3.2.5-1ubuntu1 Version table: *** 3.2.5-1ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Oct 16 13:18:12 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: ekiga 3.2.5-1ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/usr/bin/tcsh ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-22.65-generic SourcePackage: ekiga Uname: Linux 2.6.31-22-generic i686 ** Affects: ekiga (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: froze hang -- ekiga freezes when trying to accept a call https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
