This is a critical bug generating endless reports from Ubuntu users.
Note that even with 'pactl load-module module-loopback latency_msec=1', there 
is still some lag.

I myself cannot believe why this important feature affecting so many people is 
still left unfixed.
Loopback used to work on Ubuntu, but now it doesn't because of the introduction 
of pulseaudio.

What's stopping you from working on this?
