Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fontmatrix
If handling system-wide fonts, FontMatrix has an "experimental"* way of deactivating them if one wants so, but this feature doesn't work if one wants to bring those fonts back to use. This code changes the contents of the user's "/.fonts.conf" file, to add lines with the <rejectfont> tag at the bottom of it. The only way to bring those back to use is to delete those lines from the file. *: Experimental as declared by the maker himself in this thread (also: useful for understanding the bug): http://fontmatrix.net/node/41 This happened while using Maverick Desktop, though it seems it was there too at Lucid, as you can see in this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1533270 ** Affects: fontmatrix (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- System fonts deactivated cannot be activated back https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661540 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
