Anyone who is having problems with the audio making your system unusable for now enable glitch free temporarily (at least until this issue is resolved). To do so:
1. Press alt+f2 type: gksudo gedit /etc/pulse/default.pa 2. Find the line that says "load-module module-udev-detect" 3. Change that line to: "load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0" 4. Save and exit gedit. 5. Reboot.
