** Description changed: Binary package hint: linphone No video support. Ekiga, Cheese and Skype can use the USB webcam but Linphone can't. Looks like the relevant debug message is "error: Unsupported image size: size=111360 (bug somewhere !)" - Doesn't seem ti make any difference if I use V4L or V4L2 + Doesn't seem ti make any difference if I use V4L or V4L2. There is a visual difference though, with V4L I get a picture of coloured static, with V4L2 I just get a green (green?) picture. + + I also tried after removing the nvidia driver and restarting, that made + no difference. With nvidia gone, and tring to switch between V4L and + V4L2 I got a crash which is reported as bug #659725 (now Linphone just + crashes on start).
