Thanks for your feedback. This is a bit embarrassing, considering I work for a quality assurance company and report bugs every day :-)
Yes, it is 100% reproducible. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select "Main Menu" from System => Preferences 2. Select any folder (e.g. "Other") in the "Menus" pane and click on "New Item" button to the right 3. When setting up the new custom launcher, select "Location" from "Type:" dropdown menu 4. Fill other fields as required, especially: select a file in "Command:" section 5. Confirm The custom launcher that was just created will not show up in the selected menu folder. Note: if, however, a new launcher is created and it's an application (e.g. to create a Firefox launcher manually, enter "firefox" as the command and select "Application" as the type), it will appear as expected. -- Canot add location launcher to Main Menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
