I got the account added using the info above, but I still wasn't pulling down facebook data. I found a guy on the facebook group for gwibber who said to use your username, and not your email address, when signing into facebook. This worked perfectly and the application is running smooth. If you don't have a username setup with facebook it can be done in preferences.
