Sorry I can't help much describing this bug. I'll say what I did to the
bug report install
A week ago, I was trying to play CS emulating it on wine from a NTFS
partition. After realizing that I was on wrong wireless I switched with
ALT+TAB and then wine didn't switch back to game, so I used a kill to
finish wine. After trying to restart CS from half life exec's (cstrike
wasn't running directly, so I open half-life and change game) some how
the change game wasn't showing CS option.
Today, trying to emulating again CS, the mod wasn't available yet. So I
thought that maybe wine was saving some config settings on some path and
deleting it the mod would appear again. Since I didn't know where to
find config file from wine, I went to shell and typed: "sudo apt-get
purge wine" and then "sudo apt-get install wine". It took long time to
finish the installation so I just closed the shell and tried to emulate
again CS, and it ran . After playing and after a while ubuntu complained
about this error and I'm here "reporting". Although, I believe that most
of history will be useless, I hope it contains some tip to find out why
it didn't find the directory.
