Public bug reported:
When adding a new custom launcher to the Main Menu, and creating it for
a location (e.g. an xls file), the launcher will not appear in the menu.
It appears that Ubuntu completely rejects that kind of launcher in the
Main Menu, while it accepts them on the panels.
Windows allows its users to place shortcuts to pretty much anything in
any place they want. It would be nice if users could place "shortcuts"
to files in their main menu, not just application launchers.
Experienced on Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit.
