The problem seems to exist in maverick still. I can connect to a FTP server with whichever tool I like and everything works, except for that nautilus will never list files. But, interestingly, it can create new files and upload from my disk with no problems.
I use passive mode, but the problem must be elsewhere. The server does send the directory list correctly, I can check it in wireshark. It seems that nautilus just does not accept it. The remote host is a Windows 2003 server, presenting itself as Windows_NT. If try and connect to a unix FTP server, listing works correctly. I can provide any logs or further info as needed, but I do not know where to begin. -- ftp passive mode on error on list directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
