I'm using Ubuntu RC 10.10 64bits on Acer Aspire One 721 - 128ss. The sound device is Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) (rev 40). Internal microphone is working when recording with audacity, but does not work with audiorecorder or skype. External microphone works well with any application. Strangely enough I've been playing with pavucontrol and figured out that if only right channel of sound input device is selected skype could be used with automatic volume control disabled in it's settings.
