I can confirm this bug. It happen to me after my Laptop shut down cause battery was empty. I am pretty sure that this is in the first was not a Epiphany problem this is a problem of Ubuntu cause it does not wait for epiphany propper to close aplication! Ho ever if a System hang complete Epiphany should not override something with default values.
