I am also getting hit by this bug after upgrading to Maverick's RC: lspci: 00:19.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82566DC Gigabit Network Connection (rev 02)
Currently DHCP fails to get an IP and this NIC worked under lucid. I have a feeling this is a show stopper as this NIC/module is very popular.
