Public bug reported: When I fire up Unity, it's basically unusable. 100% CPU usage by the Xorg process. I've seen reports of mutter eating CPU like crazy, but mutter seems well behaved here. It seems to be all CPU, i.e. no I/O going crazy. Sorry, I don't have much more information. I tried to strace it once and locked up my laptop :)
Using the flgrx driver, because radeon(4) doesn't support 3d on my video card. Can't find anything useful in syslog or the X logs..
