Created deb http://people.canonical.com/~rsalveti/646368/linux- image-2.6.35-22-omap_2.6.35-22.34_armel.deb with this patch included, now just need someone with OMAP3 EVM or IGEPv2 to test and see if the module is being loaded automatically.
