Hi Mahendra, yes I pretty much know that Maverick will not work with those out of the box. The problem is that there is the seourceforge driver which supports them, but for some reason this support is not pushed upstream. I checked the most recent upstream kernel source and it is still not there.
And to replace the wacom driver in our kernel source is not really something that works out well from a maintenance point of view. And it would also take of pressure from the people doing the sf driver to push things into mainline. So the only middle way seems to be lbm. I started the test package for Lucid as there was some initial request to have additional support for the LTS. Given a bit of time I may do the same for Maverick, but this depends a bit on time since we are close to release. -- Add linux-backports-modules-input https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/606278 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
