This is a tricky one - we're often uncertain how assertive we can be about resetting the settings a user has adopted to something resembling the defaults. On the one hand, folks who get into a precarious settings position will feel they have a bug and it's our fault. On the other, folks who have remapped keys or chosen an unusual setup are often personally attached to that, and insulted when it's reset (even though they know very well how to set it again :-)).
