I think the problem didn't bother me as much in 10.04 because the terminal had a rounded bottom which extended the target click area.
I propose an increased target area. For instance: [see attached] there is a bunch of dots arranged in a triangle to hint the user that it is resizable. If we could make the scrollbar end 10-20 pixels north of the bottom right of the window to allow room for a triangle dot icon, it would increase the target click area, and would help a lot for usability. A lot of windows have a status bar at the bottom and the triangle area is actually a part of the status bar, like in gedit and firefox. I know gnome-terminal doesn't have a status bar, but it does help for resize usability in the other programs. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot1.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/652331/+attachment/1659163/+files/Screenshot1.png -- terminal window super hard to resize https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/652331 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
