It is not working between normal apps for me. For example, if I have a terminal and a web browser open in the same workspace, when the browser is in focus and I hold down alt, and press tab, everytime I press tab, the tab events get sent to the browser. Likewise when I have the terminal in focus and hold down alt, everytime I press tab I get the "Display all XXX possibilities? (y or n)" message in the terminal.
